Cameron Cherkowski

1961 - 2022

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Cam Cherkowski of Sherwood Park, AB on July 18, 2022 at the age of 60. Cam will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Morris and Stella Cherkowski; his brother Corey Cherkowski, nephew Branden, niece Allycen; sister Candice (Tim) Hauck; and sister Cindy Cherkowski; extended family and many, many friends.

Cam was very young at heart and a loving and amazing son, brother, cousin and friend. He loved his family and friends; always willing to help others where he could.

He was born in Edmonton, AB lived in Vancouver, BC for over 30 years and then moved back to Alberta to be close to family. He was a talented man with expertise in cars, pool, golf, football and hockey. A huge sports fanatic, he spent a lot of time discussing and watching sports along with his family and friends. He played hockey up until a few years ago and was once asked to join the BC Lions Farm team.

He will be sorely missed. We love you Cameron now and always.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 13 Brower Drive, Sherwood Park, AB, with reception to follow. Interment to be at a later date.
