It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvia Wilhelmi on January 13, 2022 in Edmonton, Alberta.

Sylvia will be missed by her partner Mickey.

Sylvia was born in Bancroft, Iowa to Laila (Reece) and Adam Wilhelmi where she grew up on the family farm in Ledyard. As a very young girl she would drive the horses and her parents would harvest corn by hand.

Sylvia went to college in Minnesota and became a teach of Junior and Senior High students. Later she became an office manager and payroll supervisor. In 1995 Sylvia met Mickey Cameron and they became a couple. They married in 2011 and soon moved to Sherwood Park where they have remained until Sylvia’s passing.

At this time, there will be no formal service.
