February 3, 1955 - October 20, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Robert St. Jacques of Sherwood Park, formerly of Beaumont, announce his passing on October 20, 2022 at the age of 67.

Robert was born on February 3, 1955 the youngest of 7 children and is lovingly remembered by one brother Ralph (Pearl) St. Jacques; four sisters Simone (Gordon) Fuller, Annette Lavigne, Alice (Dave) Faulkner, Lorraine (Paul) Rose; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. He is now reunited with his parents Raymond and Marie St. Jacques and brother Gerard.

Robert was retired and liked to keep busy. He was always there when needed, willing and ready to help and very generous with his time. He’s helped many family members and friends with various home projects. He also enjoyed baking, cooking and sharing recipes. He was an avid curler and enjoyed organizing local and charity bonspiels.

He was a very loving son and exceptional caregiver. He looked after mom in what is now the St. Jacques Heritage House for a number of years prior to her passing in 2011.

Many thanks to all his caregivers and to those who provided so much support since his cancer diagnosis.

Cremation has taken place and as per his wishes there will be no service.

Memorial donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute or Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
