Marlene May Sawchuk

May 28, 1960 - November 28, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Marlene Sawchuk of Sherwood Park, Alberta, on November 28th, 2022, at the age of 62.

Marlene was born in Edmonton on May 28th, 1960 and lived in Sherwood Park most of her life where she also raised her family and made many friends. Her smile and laugh were infectious, her kindness had no limits and she lived for her family. Marlene was a wonderful caring wife, mother, sister, and friend to many.

Marlene is survived by her husband of 28 years, Orest Sawchuk; 3 children Jeff (Meghan), Brittany (Tom), and Ashley (Nathan); 6 grandchildren who miss her dearly; Tyson, Brody, Livia, Michael, Avery, and Brooklyn; 3 siblings, Brenda (John), Brian (Cindy) and Gerald, brother-in-law Ron (Loretta), many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Marlene was predeceased by her parents Alvin and Delia Whitney.

Cremation took place on December 1st. A celebration of life and interment will follow in the new year.
