Christine “Chris” Sowinski

It is with loving hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Christine “Chris” Sowinski. She was a loving wife, doting mother, adoring grandmother, respected teacher, a dear sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Dave; son, Scott (Morgen); daughters, Katie (Bryan), Leah (Riley); grandchildren, Griffin, Grayson and Bodie; and many more cherished family members and friends. Christine was predeceased by her nephew Christopher and her mother and father Genevieve and Gordon MacGillivray.

Christine’s ability to enjoy life regardless of the obstacles that came her way is nothing short of amazing. She used her wit, sense of humour and selflessness to nurture all of those around her. Her one-of-a-kind smile, laugh and love will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew her.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
