Alice Mae Chalmers
Remembered Always
July 31, 1937 – December 27, 2023
It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of Alice Chalmers. Alice was born on July 31, 1937, to Emil and Anna Waltz in Innisfail, Alberta, the second youngest of seven children.
Alice leaves to mourn her loving husband, Tom, of 22 years, her daughter KellyLee (Steven), her son Blaine, her grandchildren Bradley (Amra) and Jaeline (James), her great grand-children Jozef, Layal, Samuel and Karleena, various loving Germaniuk and Chalmers family in-laws, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. Alice was predeceased by her two brothers: Victor and Don; and her four sisters: Marie, Alvina, Lydia and Verna.
Alice created delicious meals and loved entertaining family and friends. She was passionate about gardening, dedicatedly working in the incredible outdoor gardens she created, as well as on her daughter’s acreage. With her husband Tom, she enjoyed many years of travelling to the United States for several months yearly, as well as various vacation spots across Canada and the Caribbean.
The family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff at Millwoods Shepherd’s Care who lovingly and skillfully cared for Alice, making her transition Home peaceful and dignified.
Alice is already missed, leaving a hole in the hearts of her loved ones. A small gathering of family and friends will take place at a later date to celebrate her life.
